What is Black Future Month?

Black Future Month (BFM) is a thirty-day period (from March 20th to April 20th) following Black History Month, intended to collectively strategize, organize and mobilize for the betterment of Black communities.

During this time, individuals, organizations, institutions and businesses are encouraged to work together locally in developing a unique and relevant Black Future Agenda (BFA) composed of future-centric ideas, events and activities to be actualized throughout the coming year in the communities that created them.

As our future is always determined by the growth and development of our youth today, there is a primary focus on the needs of our youth, from children to young adult.
